Ramesh S Ramakrishnan
Ramakrishnan Sivaswamy Iyer is the Executive Chairman of our Company. He holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from the University of Mumbai. Currently, he is enrolled in the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School. He has over 39 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Previously, he has been associated with Shreyas Shipping and Logistics Limited in the capacity of its chairman and managing director.
In 2011, he received 'The Maritime Personality of the Year' award at the Maritime and Logistics Awards. In 2012, he received the 'Logistics CEO of the Year' award at the Indian CEO Awards. In 2013, he received the 'Logistics CEO of the Year' award at the CEO Awards, 2013. He was also named as one of the 'Top 100 Indian Leaders in the UAE' by Forbes, Middle East in 2013. His name was also included in the list of 'Top Indian Leaders in the Arab World' in 2014, 2015 and 2016 and in the list of 'Top 100 Indian Business Owners in the Arab World 2018' by Forbes, Middle East. He has been a Director on our Board since March 17, 1994.
Sundaresan Varadarajan is the Managing Director of our Company. He holds a bachelor's degree in science from the University of Madras and a bachelor's and a master's degree in commerce from Osmania University. He also holds post graduate diplomas in financial management and taxation laws from Annamalai University. He has over 35 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Previously, he has been associated with Meridian Shipping Agency Private Limited, SRS Freight Management Limited, Vadhyar Offshore Services and Chettinad Cement Corporation Limited in various capacities. He has been a Director on our Board since June 15,2017.
Ritesh S Ramakrishnan
Joint Managing Director
Ritesh Sivaswamy Ramakrishnan is the Joint Managing Director of our Company. He holds a bachelor's degree in science from Purdue University, USA and has received a certificate for attending the Galbraith's Shipping Course from Galbraith's Limited. He also attended the Programme for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School in 20 I 7. He has-fWef eight years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Currently, he is also serving as a member ofYPO Dubai Downtown Chapter. He was named as one of the 'Top Indian Leaders: The Next Generation 2018' and 'Top Indian Leaders 2017: The Next Generation', in 2018 and 2017, respectively, by Forbes, Middle East. He was also recognised as a 'Global Next Generation Business Leader' in the Lloyds List in 2015. He has been a Director on our Board since May 30, 2012.
Mr. Amitabha Ghosh
A Chartered Accountant by profession and a fellow member of the Indian Institute of Bankers, Mr. Amitabha Ghosh started off his career at Allahabad Bank in 1951 as the first Indian Probationary Officer. He was eventually elevated to the post of Chairman and Managing Director after holding various important assignments in the Bank. His journey took him to greater heights as the Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of India from 1982 to 1984 and from 1985 to 1992, and as the Chairman of Reserve Bank of India Services Board during 1992-1993. A prolific writer and thinker, he has also contributed a number of articles to various publications of the Government of India and the Reserve Bank of India.
Mr. D.T. Joseph
Mr. D.T. Joseph is an IAS (Retd) by profession. Following his stint as Secretary (Co-ordination) in the Cabinet Secretariat, he took over as Secretary in the Ministry of Shipping in the year 2003 and retired in 2005. Instrumental in getting the tonnage tax option implemented for shipowners, he has also served as Director General of Shipping where he streamlined chartering guidelines for ships in March 2000 and simplified Articles of Agreement for sailors. He also influenced the liberalization of maritime training and education, setting up standards for private institutions and building maritime constituencies, and played an important role in the preparation of the comprehensive draft Maritime Policy and the National Maritime Development Programme.
Hariharan Padmanabhan is a serial entrepreneur, a global corporate board level executive, mentor and angel investor. He is currently Executive Chairman of the Encore Group, prior to which he was the Chief Strategic Advisor at 3i Infotech. His guidance led 3i Infotech to establish itself in Capital Markets, Banking and Investment Management areas in the Middle East & Africa region and the Insurance and Banking segments in Europe. He is on the board of Prime Focus Ltd, and LKP Finance Ltd and has angel invested and mentored TrackIT, an RFID company in Dubai. A Bachelor of Technology from IIT Kanpur and a Post Graduate in Management from IIM Kolkatta, his 'not for profit' activities include being the current Chairman of Pan IIT Alumni India, Founder Patron of the Pan IIT alumni Reach for India Foundation and Director of Pratham in Dubai.
Ms. Rani Jadhav
Ms. Rani Jadhav worked for 38 years in the Indian Administrative Service before retiring in 2008 from the position of the Chairperson, Mumbai Port Trust in the rank of Secretary, Government of India. During this period she held a number of senior positions, both at the federal and state levels and therefore is very well acquainted with all aspects of public administration in India. She was associated with the highest levels of decision making in government and contributed significantly to policy formulation during her tenure.

Gopalakrishnan Nanjundaeswaran is an Additional Director - Strategic Finance of our Company. He holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from the University of Kerala. He is also a certified fellow chartered accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a certified fellow company secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He has over 37 years of experience in the commercial, operational, governance and financial aspect of shipping and logistics industry. Captain Milind Kashinath Patankar is an Additional Non-Executive Director of our Company. He has been awarded a certificate of competency as extra master in relation to the Merchant Navy by the Government ofIndia. He is a certified fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and The Nautical Institute, United Kingdom. He is a member, fellow member and director of The Company of Master Mariners of India. He is also a member of the Shipping, Transport & Logistic Committee of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He has over 30 years of experience in the maritime sector. Previously, he has been associated with the KC Maritime group, Orient Express Ship Management Limited, the Shipping Corporation of India Limited and Transworld Bulk Carriers (India) Private Limited in various capacities. Currently, he is also on the board of the Maritime Association of Shipowners Shipmanagers and Agents and the Maritime Training and Research Foundation. Anil Kumar Gupta is an Additional Independent Director of our Company. He holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in arts (economics) from the University of Delhi. He has over 35 years of experience in the transportation sector. Previously, he has been associated with the Container Corporation of India as its chairman and managing director and with the Indian Railways. Maya Swaminathan Sinha is an Additional Independent Director of our Company. She holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in arts (economics) from University of Delhi.
